The fourth of a set of seven Tankas created as part of the All Live is Sacred series, each with inspirational quotations and animal Buddhas.

The featured quote by Nan Sea was inspired by a newspaper article, unfortuntately the author's name long-forgotten:

“If one where able to take all the love in the universe and distill it into the soul of a single creature, who that has know the love of a dog could deny it would be found there. The universe in the eyes of a dog.”

Also subtly interwoven into the art are the words ”All Life is Sacred” and a wonderful prayer said each morning by his Holiness the Dalai Lama:

”As long as there are beings to be found, may I continue likewise to remain to soothe the sufferings of those who may live.”—His Holiness the Dalai Lama
